Sarah Palin Knocks Jeb Bush’s Comments on Immigration ‘As Someone Who Is Fertile Herself’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) knocked former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) and his recent comments on immigration while speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual conference.

On Saturday, Palin criticized Bush for saying the future of America’s economy depends upon immigrants in part because they “are more fertile” and create more businesses than native-born Americans.

“I say this as someone who’s kind of fertile herself,” Palin said.

She’s just sad at this point. I thought it was kind of lame that Jeb needed to refer to immigrants as fertile but he did point out a true fact that many immigrants in this country are entrepreneurial in spirit and family orientated which is true. Something that I guess went over Sarah’s head.

Point is that a lot of immigrants are potential GOP voters on family and social issues but are put off by the bigoted and short-sighted social policies of the GOP.

These families are big on education, and not just charter schools and private colleges: they want good public schools and public facilities that benefit large families.

For as moronic as Palin is, Jeb Bush’s wording was just weird. While I understand that he meant “fertile” in a contribution sense, it was possibly the most clumsy thing I have ever heard him say. I literally LOL’d when I heard it.
